Two new talents joined Gordon S. Blair Law Offices: Jean-Marc Remy and Aurelie-Anne Franiatte
Aurelie-Anne joined Gordon Blair back in January 2019. As an in house French graduate Notary, she is specialized in International Private Law and International Notarial Law.
Aurelie-Anne especially benefits from a strong experience in Real Estate assets advice and transactions. Thanks to her skills, she will serve our international private clients, in various fields, such as settlement of international inheritances, estate planning and matrimonial property regime, as well as all real estate related matters.
Her arrival contributes to the expansion of our offer’s scope, especially in the fields brought by Jean-Marc Remy, a very talented and experienced tax advisor, who joined Gordon Blair back in October 2018. His unique practice dedicated to private clients is focused on tax planning and tax compliance issues. Jean-Marc also provides assistance on (re)structuring real estate investments in Monaco and France.
He has an extensive experience in property and residence taxation, personal and business relocation to Monaco, cross border issues between France and Monaco.
This new combination enables our firm to provide our international high-profile clients with taylor-made, exhaustive and high-end legal & tax services.
For example, before a binational UK-Russia couple settles down in Monaco, one must study impacts in their origin and destination countries, in terms not only of Income tax, Corporate tax, VAT, realised gain tax, flat tax or exit tax, but also of laws applicable to the couple (matrimonial regime), to the planification and potential inheritance tax, especially in case of real estate assets owned in several countries.
