The Monaco legal system operates a distinction between the “Avocats – Défenseurs” – Monaco Barristers and the “Conseils Juridiques” – Legal Counsels.
The key difference between the Monaco Barristers and the Legal Counsels is that a barrister is a lawyer who is been called to the Monaco bar and is sole qualified to plead cases in courts, whereas a legal counsel advises clients on legal matters and draws up legal documents.
GORDON S. BLAIR is a duly authorized Legal Counsel firm pursuant to an Authorisation issued by the Monaco Ministry of State.
