COVID-19: Social News on March 31st, 2020
The exceptional arrangement for partial activity known as “CTTR – Covid-19” is specified:
- On the dematerialized procedure (what changes):
In view of the large number of applications for Total Temporary Layoff (CTTR), the Health and Safety Executive strongly recommends that companies carry out all these procedures directly online on the Monegasque Government’s website :
In addition, the pay slips of the employees concerned by the CTTR must be attached, as well as the company’s bank details when the monthly declaration of payment of the Partial Activity Compensation is sent.
- On the amount of the Partial Activity Allowance (IAP):
The French government has set up a framework for the Partial Activity Allowance (IAP):
- The minimum hourly rate for Partial Activity Compensation is set at €8.03 (excluding apprentices and temporary workers);
- The hourly ceiling of Partial Activity Compensation is set at 70% of 4.5 times the hourly minimum wage.
Caution : these measures are under discussion in Monaco. At this stage, nothing has been decided regarding the application of the Monegasque 5% to the IAP minimum hourly rate (€8.03). For the calculation of the IPA ceiling, it has been recommended that the limit of 4.5 times the gross hourly minimum wage (€10.15) be applied, increased by 5% without, however, limiting it to 70%. These measures may change according to the Monegasque Government’s decisions taken on a day-to-day basis.
