Gordon S. Blair has a front seat to the Port Palace handover

Gordon S. Blair guided the shareholders of S.A.M. LA MONEGASQUE DE LOGISTIQUE (MDL), owner of PORT PALACE, in the long process of selling their shares.
For the past three years, David de Pariente, partner of the firm, assisted by Jennifer Di Cesare, has guided the shareholders of MDL in the various negotiations relating to the acquisition of the Port Palace. By choosing the MADAR family group as the buyer, MDL shareholders chose the solution that seemed best for both the Principality and the hotel staff. Indeed, the hotel had been greatly coveted since 2017, when the Monaco Court of First Instance had declared a state of insolvency at MDL’s principal and sole creditor’s request, a bank. In this context, it took three years of work to achieve the objective pursued, during which MDL’s shareholders and Gordon S. Blair have together faced many challenges to finally achieve this project on Friday March 6th.
